Update: As of March 2012, with dwindling attendance we have paused the outreach until further notice. It's been a real honor to serve this community in the name of Jesus Christ/Savior/God these past four years. We may return when school lets out this summer if we feel lead by His Spirit to do so. Please take a moment to review this page and perhaps be inspired to start a helps ministry of your own or with the help of friends or local churh. It doesn't take much. Neyra and I started with some coloring books and just added layers as the Lord lead. The main ingrediant is to be willing and available to be someones friend and tell them what Jesus did in Luke 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
Mobile Youth Chapel began several years ago through service to the homeless around the Santa Ana Civic Center. Some of these homeless were very young children with parents immersed in the street culture including various addictions and methods to support those addictions. So we brought kid sized table and chairs to the Civic Center parking lot along with a homemade dinner, drinks, desert and bible story coloring books, to give those children a respite from their reality and an introduction to Life through Jesus Christ. Then other needy children, alone or with one or two guardians just started showing up. Sometime later, after receiving permission from the City and acquiring the necessary insurance, we began renting Angel's Community Park three blocks west of the Civic Center for two hours every Monday evening and continued serving in this way. Additionaly, we provided other encouragement through weekly grocery gifts (Food Rangers), distributing clothing and outings for the kids like fishing trips to Seal Beach pier (Hooked On Jesus) and gifts at Christmas time.

Jesus said in Luke 18:16 "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of God"

We meet at the park every Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. We serve dinner, prayer, encouragement and the Word of God to all who show up free of charge. From the very young to senior citizens. Some homeless and some not. Others living in a car or garage and just barely getting by.

Matthew 25:35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

Isaiah 58:6-7 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"
While the children are being taught about God's love for them through Christ by volunteers, the adults receive a bilingual gospel message.
Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

MYC is an expression of our faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God and Savior of the world.
2 Corinthians 5:20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Thanks for your time and God bless you!
